Sometimes It’s Good To Be Flaky!

If you haven’t gone to the BEST EVER bakery in all of NJ, it’s a must!

The Flaky Tart in Atlantic Highlands takes the cake. This is no ordinary bakery! It’s unique and the chef, Marie Jackson is super creative. When you pull up to the small storefront, it is modest and unassuming. There is also a small parking lot in front, but we have always been able to get a spot on the street. There is always a line but it moves quickly and the staff is the friendliest.

My advice on what to try? EVERYTHING!

I have a serious addiction to their Coconut Layer Cake, but here are some standards you should try:

They also make some food items like macaroni and cheese, grilled vegetable & goat cheese pesto pasta salad and quiches… the pastries, cakes and specials change, but there is always a facebook post on what’s available.
