3 vine ripe tomatoes, cubed
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 cup fresh basil, chopped or 1 tablespoon dried
1/2 teaspoon ground kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar glaze
Toss all together
Drizzle with oil,vinegar and season with salt and pepper.
Garnish with additional basil or some parsley
where does one find "balsamic vinegr glaze"?
ReplyDeleteMost food markets have it now. Wegman's, Trader Joe's and I have even seen it in Stop and Shop! It's near the vinegars, usually in a small squeeze bottle. It run around $4-5, but it is rich so you use less than regular balsamic.
