Burgerlicious... and Then Some!

Many of you have tried my Hot Pepper Jelly and I am often asked what to do with it other than eat it on crackers. It actually has some wonderful uses, one of which has become my favorite - on top of a grilled burger with goat cheese! You can use cream cheese if you prefer a milder cheese. Below are 10 great ideas for pepper jelly:

Note: you can use any brand of pepper jelly - Walmart sells Dickinsons and Braswell's,  Stonewall Kitchen and Rothchild Farm makes it available online. I however, make my own! I will post the recipe.

Uses:

1. Top a Burger!!!

2. Add 1 teaspoon of soy sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of rice vinegar and serve it with dumplings or potstickers.

3. Mix equal parts of mayonnaise and pepper jelly and use as a sandwich spread. It's really good with smoked turkey or ham!

4. Stir together honey, melted butter and pepper jelly until mixed and spread over fish and bake.

5. Spread a layer of pepper jelly on a Brie wheel and wrap it in puff pastry and bake.

6. Brush on chicken and pork and grill or roast.

7. Put it on grilled cheese sandwiches - Yum!

8. Use in Stir Fry

9. A really good sandwich - Turkey, baby spinach, red onion, brie and pepper jelly.

10. And yes, with cream cheese!
