Your Grocery List for May!



Remember to add seasonal items to your grocery list. It's time to take advantage of what is sometimes called "May Superfoods" because they are here and gone quickly and you don't have a chance to get tired of them.

Remember it's cheaper, healthier and tastier to eat foods in season! Here are the foods that are the freshest this month:

Vegetables
Artichoke, Asparagus, Broccoli, Carrots, Cauliflower, Cucumber, Leeks, New Potatoes, Peas, Radishes, Spinach and Spring onions
Fruit
Apricots, Bananas, Cherries, Kiwi and Strawberries
Meat/Poultry
Duck and Lamb
Fish/Seafood
Cod, Crab, Haddock, Halibut, Lemon Sole, Lobster, Salmon, Sea Bass, Shrimp and Trout

Mint and Parsley
